Skiing, sliping, walking, playing in the snow,... Val Gardena and its countryside is one big adventure playground for the kids. At all events, boredom is not on the programme in Val Gardena. In addition to all those natural playgrounds, there is a complete infrastructure developed with children in mind. And we also do our best to ensure the kids have fun, with plenty of variety and entertainment – in short a holiday they are not likely to forget in a hurry.
For children younger than 14 years, from January 1st, 2005 is obligatory to carry a helmet.

The skiing schools of Selva Gardena, S. Cristina and Ortisei offer special programmes devoted to children. Children are encouraged through play and fun to try theiir first steps on the snow.
A competition for budding little sportsmen will end up the course, with lots of surprise in store for all participants.

If your child's birthday is during your holiday in Val Gardena, this is a happy coincidence! A birthday is only celebrated once a year and, therefore, we have a special birthday present. It's waiting for you at the Tourist Office.
