Monday: Brave mountain climbers and forest adventurers
Early in the morning our explorers try their hand at climbing during a trial climbing session under the supervision of the ‘Gardena Guides’ mountain guides: a first-hand experience with the rocky mountain walls.
In the afternoon the kids follow the signs of nature on the path of the eagle at the entrance to the Vallunga. They'll discover the new adventure world “Valtoi” with the adventure fence and feel the nature barefoot along the sensory path. The children will learn interesting facts about the forest and its inhabitants with our nature park guide.
Tuesday: Sports morning and creative handicrafts
Promoting motor skills is of great importance for children's development. Through interesting group activities, sports, games and lots of exercise in the great outdoors, motivated children learn to develop their mobility and their own body awareness. Special attention is paid to the perception of the body during the individual movements.
In the afternoon the kids discover how lots of natural materials can be used to create surprising things. Pebbles, moss, seeds, wood, leaves, pinecones and others are used to build small works of art which can then be taken home..
Wednesday: Exciting farm life and brave bikers
On an exciting guided visit to the Milan farm, the kids will experience how to live in the middle of nature. Of course, they can look over the shoulder of the farmers working! Children have the possibility to feed and pet cows and calves, to watch how cows are milked, and to taste homemade products.
The Bike Park Palmer is a place where children can prove their mountain bike skills! Beginners learn the first steps of cycling and experienced bikers can learn how to jump with their mountain bikes on different biking courses.
Thursday: Little hands, big builders
Pinwheels are loved by children all over the world. Building a DIY model is an activity that will enable them to acquire new skills and develop their fantasy. In the morning they will have fun creating a fun paper pinwheel and letting it rotate afterwards.
In the afternoon, the kids will go to the forest, where they can create dwarf caves and other mini-constructions, using only natural materials. In this way they will experience a creative day that will be exciting, adventurous and at the same time unforgettable.
Friday: Busy bees and little horse lovers
Children love honey: it’s sweet and yet still healthy. But how does honey get into the jar? Together with our guide Nadia, the children will visit a beekeeper in Selva, who will talk about the profession and the importance of honey bees. The kids will also have the chance to observe how bees work.
In the afternoon the children who are keen on horse riding can go on a journey on the back of a pony and experience that even small horses can bring great moments of joy
And if it rains?
