On the Sella massif
The Sellaronda is a circuit that leads fitness fanatics or simply active guests to explore the Sella massif in the Dolomites. Guests have countless opportunities to complete the circuit which cuts across the Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Passo Campolongo and Passo Gardena. Skiers take over the Sella during winter, giving way to cyclists and motorcyclists during summer. Skiers can complete the circuit on the Sella either clockwise or anticlockwise. If you would like to ski clockwise, then follow the orange signposts, everyone else follow the green signposts. Skiers on the Sella can complete a trail which is 40 km long, 24 km of which can be completed by cable car. But how difficult of a circuit is it in the first place? Well, the Sellaronda is also ideal for skiers with average skills. However, due to the length of the circuit we recommend you start the day on the circuit by 10 a.m. the latest to ensure you return to the start on time before the lift facilities close.
