People who are blind or visually impaired are entitled to use public transport free of charge and without a ticket upon presenting an appropriate ID.

Lifts

Dolomiti Superski Ski Pass & Supersummer Pass
On presentation of a document certifying a degree of disability of 51% or more, disabled persons receive discounts on certain ski passes.
It is important to contact the respective sales outlets first or write directly to info@dolomitisuperski.com.

 

Single rides
Different discounts for disabled persons are applied at the discretion of each company and facility.

 

Gardena Card
On presentation of a document certifying a degree of disability of 50% or more a reduction equal to the next Gardena Card fare is granted:

  • Adults with a disability of 50% or more: application of the junior rate.
  • Junior with a disability of 50% or more: application of the baby fare.

Important: A document certifying the disability must always be presented.

Projekt "Südtirol für alle"

Val Gardena's constant aim is that of removing all discriminating obstacles against people with restricted mobility.
The 'South Tyrol for everyone' project (sponsored by the Social Cooperative 'independent L.') carried out an independent study on accommodation, focusing on special needs of people with disabilities, seniors and families.

In this way, at long last, people with restricted mobility (walking or visual impairment) but also guests with special needs (such as the elderly or family with small children) can plan and better enjoy their Val Gardena holiday.
