Holiday guide 2026 - DOLOMITES Val Gardena

61 CHILDREN ‘Valtoi’ - The Trail of the Seven Summits / Selva di Val Gardena Step into a fairytale adventure in the magical world of Valtoi, nestled in the beautiful Vallunga at the entrance to the Puez-Odle Nature Park. Surrounded by enchanted forests and stunning mountain views, you’ll discover the story of Pia and Oswald, explore nature, and follow clues to complete a fun puzzle game. Stop by the Selva Val Gardena Tourist Office to pick up your “Quiz for Kids” flyer, complete the crossword and receive a little surprise! ‘Uciei de Frëines’ / S. Cristina The trail starts near the valley station of the Col Raiser cable car in S. Cristina and winds through the woods above Cristauta. Along the way, accessible from directions, there are five information stations, each dedicated to a different bird species in Val Gardena. Each station features a wooden sculpture, handcrafted by a master sculptor from Val Gardena, and offers interesting facts about the habits, lifestyle and characteristics of each species. You can hear the bird’s calls by scanning the board’s QR code, making the experience even more engaging. Time: 1:19 h (Return trip) ‘PanaRaida’ / S. Cristina - Monte Pana At the parking place of Monte Pana you find the starting point of the adventure trail PanaRaida. The path runs across meadows and fields and is peppered with 10 adventure stations using natural products in order to create the ideal entertainment for children and parents alike. The unique backdrop sets the tone for the whole walk and guarantees a fun time surrounded by nature for all the family. Alongside the Adventure Trail, which invites you to marvel and explore, there are endless pastures where cows and horses spend their summer holidays grazing. New: insect paradise. Geocaching Route ‘PanaRaida’ / S. Cristina - Monte Pana ... a treasure hunt for all the family! Why don’t you and your children join in this modern-day treasure hunt? Along the PanaRaida adventure trail, there are a total of three adventure stations where ‘Geocaches’ (containers) have been hidden. Each of these contains a word which must be memorised. Once you have found all three words, go to the S. Cristina Tourist Office, tell them the words and you will receive your surprise (or ‘treasure’). This is how it works: Enter the coordinates - you will find them on www.valgardena.it/panaraida or at the S. Cristina Tourist Office, where you will also find the free PanaRaida map. The cache you will find contains the first of the three words, and also the coordinates of the next hideout! Good luck!
