Dolomites Ranger

This summer, the “Dolomites Ranger” are once again active in Val Gardena, following last year’s great success and the many positive feedback from both guests and locals. These rangers will put their heart and soul into preserving Val Gardena’s unique landscape and nature. They know what they’re doing and are committed to their job – they’ll raise awareness among hikers, cyclists, and walkers on respecting the Dolomites.

The rangers are always available and always have the right answer – be it behavioural or safety tips, recommending paths or providing information on the weather. They’ll also monitor illegal camping activities.

The Dolomites Rangers will work in lockstep with the municipal police, the Forest Rangers, and the “Judacrëp Gherdëina” rescue team. The goal is to strike a responsible and respectful balance with Val Gardena’s extraordinary nature.
