Due to the prestigious stage of the Giro d'Italia scheduled for May 21st and 22nd, 2024, in Val Gardena, some roads will need to be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
We recommend all visitors to the 2024 Giro d'Italia in Val Gardena to plan ahead and allow enough time for their journey to avoid delays.
Road closures*
Two and a half hours before the scheduled passages of the Giro d'Italia, the roads will be closed. The roads will be reopened immediately after passage (except for the Str. Pana, which will remain closed until 8:00 PM).

The road from S. Cristina to Monte Pana will be closed from Monday, May 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM until Tuesday, May 21, 2024, to 8:00 PM. The ban also applies to bicycles.
The Monte Pana chairlift will transport for free spectators to and from Monte Pana for free between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
The Mont Sëura chairlift will also be open and available to visitors for free. The ZipLine Monte Pana will be open at a price of € 28.00.

Rodaval
We recommend cycling within the valley along the valley bike route "Rodaval". A supervised, free bicycle parking area will be set up from 10:00 AM to 10:15 PM at the tennis courts in S. Cristina near the Monte Pana chairlift.
