Singing art – the birdsong’s path
Have you ever heard a black grouse sing? You now can on the “Troi de Frëines” trail. Wend your way through the woods on this pleasant walk combining art and nature. Along the way you’ll find five information boards, each dedicated to a different bird species native to Val Gardena. Each board comes with a handcrafted, wooden sculpture carved by Thomas Delazer, one of Val Gardena’s master sculptors. The boards display interesting facts about each species’ habits, lifestyle, and characteristics. You can hear the bird’s calls by scanning the board’s QR code, making the experience even more engaging.
