Challenger Val Gardena Südtirol

25 years have passed since March 1999, when a group of tennis enthusiasts from Val Gardena decided to bring a professional tournament to the valley. The "International Tennis Championships Val Gardena" will be held for the 25th time this year from 22-29 October 2023, after 11 ITF women's tournaments and 14 ATP men's tournaments. A quarter of a century of tennis history in Val Gardena.

And as in the past years, the entry list of the tournament will be impressive again this year. Numerous top 100 players have entered the tournament in the past editions. Special highlights were the multiple participation of South Tyrolean tennis ace Andreas Seppi (2013 at no. 18 of the ATP world ranking) and Jannik Sinner from Pustertal (current no. 7 of the ATP world ranking), who is described as one of the greatest talents of the future. Tennis at world level, which will also be presented in Ortisei at the Tennis Center Runggaditsch in this 2023 edition.

As this is the 25th anniversary edition, entry to all games is free.

For all tennis fans there will be a W15 ITF women's tournament one week later, from 19.11.-25.11.2023.
