During both summer and winter in Val Gardena, countless destinations can be reached by public transport, the lift facilities, on foot – and, during the warmer months, even by bike! Leave your car at your accommodation and make the most of the local mobility and the free Val Gardena Guest Pass, an exclusive offer for guests staying at participating hotels, guesthouses, and B&Bs of the Val Gardena Tourism Associations. The Card will give you free use of the majority of public transport.

Countless lifts are open throughout the summer in Val Gardena. If you’re staying for longer and plan on using the lift facilities frequently, we recommend purchasing the Gardena Card or the Dolomiti Super Summer Card. The Gardena Card gives you access to all 18 lift facilities in Val Gardena during the summer. The Dolomiti Super Summer is ideal for passionate hikers and cyclists, giving you access to 120 lift facilities in the Dolomites.

The cable cars in Val Gardena are open. The last lifts will close at the beginning of November 2026.
