Dolomites, a true paradise for racing bike enthusiasts
The paths across the Dolomites seem to have been shaped on purpose to welcome cyclists. Great paths boasting amazing views across unique landscapes while taking a deep breath of fresh, crisp, mountain air? A balm for body and soul – as well as a sustainable way of exploring the stunning Dolomites thanks to the bike’s neutral CO2 footprint.
Follow the rules to ensure both cyclists and drivers can feel at ease when sharing a road! There are usually plenty of cars during the peak season in summer, from Mid-July to end of August. Cyclists should therefore plan their holidays at the start or end of summer to avoid traffic.
That doesn’t mean we aren’t working hard on a solution to guarantee cyclists can visit us throughout the entire season: we’re currently working on adapting some of the roads on the passes with their own cycling lane (these already exist to a certain extent on the Passo Sella and Passo Gardena) to limit motorised traffic.
