Easter on skis, a treasure hunt in the snow and the chance to win fantastic prizes: on Easter Monday, 29 March 2027, spring skiing in Val Gardena will be enriched by a very special event. With the new „Uef d’Or“ event – Ladin for „golden egg“ – the entire ski area will become one big Easter treasure hunt.

Who finds the golden egg?
Whether on your own, as a couple, with your family or with friends: everyone can take part in the „Uef d’Or“. All you need is skiing ability, a spirit of adventure and, above all, a good dose of fun!

Two options – one golden goal

Performer option

For sporty and ambitious skiers, the legendary „Legendary 8“ slopes of Val Gardena are on the programme.
Of the 8 „Easter Nest“ stamping stations, marked in red, participants must ski to and collect stamps at least 7 of them. In addition, participants must reach the „Uef d’Or“ location and take a photo at the „Uef d’Or“.

Easy option

Those who prefer a more relaxed challenge can choose the Easy option, designed for more leisurely skiers and families with children.
In this case, participants must visit 4 of the 5 „Easter Nest“ stamping stations, marked in blue, and collect the corresponding stamps. The „Uef d’Or“ must also be found and a photo taken at the location.

Regardless of which option you choose, the „Uef d’Or“ must be found! Those who discover it can take a creative photo with the golden egg and post it on Instagram using the hashtag #uefdor. The most original photo will win a special prize.

Take part and win

Registration: from 22 to 29 March 2027 at the tourist offices and ski schools in the three villages of Val Gardena.
Entry fee: €20 per stamp card. Groups can also purchase just one stamp card. However, purchasing several stamp cards increases the chances of winning in the prize draw.
Start: the treasure hunt takes place on Easter Monday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Participants can start from any of the three villages in Val Gardena and choose their route freely.
Stamp card submission: by 3:30 pm at „Bacher’s Aprèski Snowbar“.
Prize draw: at 4:00 pm at „Bacher’s Aprèski Snowbar“, attractive prizes will be drawn among all valid stamp cards submitted.

The main prize is particularly special

A one-week stay including ski passes for 4 people during the 2028 winter season at SpringSkiing Val Gardena!
But the other prizes are also sure to delight participants: skis, ski equipment, lunches at mountain huts and many other surprises are waiting to be won.

Hunting for the Easter egg with a ski guide

Anyone who would prefer not to take on the challenge alone can also book a ski instructor through one of the ski schools in Val Gardena.
This turns the search for the golden egg into not only an exciting adventure, but also a very special ski tour accompanied by an experienced guide.

It’s not about speed!

At the „Uef d’Or“, safety comes first. There is no timekeeping and no pressure to be fast. Nobody needs to race from one slope to another – the treasure hunt is all about keeping your eyes open, having fun and showing consideration for all other skiers and winter sports enthusiasts.
