Team Dolomites Val Gardena

The tourism organisation in Val Gardena consists of the three Tourism Associations in each village and the valley-wide umbrella organisation DOLOMITES Val Gardena.

The three Tourism Associations of the valley represent all accommodation, retail and gastronomy businesses as well as the service managers of their village and are responsible for all local events, village beautification and maintenance of local hiking and skiing trails, guest information, member support and other matters in tourism matters.

DOLOMITES Val Gardena is the umbrella organisation and coordinates all inter-municipal and inter-valley matters. Its tasks are internal, external and political communication, coordination at valley level, marketing activities, maintenance of the joint websites and social media channels and printed matter at valley level.

The principle task is to promote Val Gardena as a tourist destination, taking into account the interests of the members. The members (1,437 = 936 accommodation establishments and 501 members from other sectors) must be involved in order to multiply and carry forward the sustainable development of the destination.

The Mobility Centre, founded in 2023, is based in the office of DOLOMITES Val Gardena and is financed by the three municipalities, the three Tourist Associations and the Val Gardena Lift Association. It takes care of the coordination and optimisation of the valley's internal bus and ski bus system in Primis. The planning of sustainable, climate-friendly and barrier-free projects to reduce traffic are the goal.

The committee "Task Force" is convened periodically to discuss and make decisions on all regional matters. It includes the key decision-makers of the valley, such as the three mayors of the municipalities of Ortisei, Santa Cristina, and Selva di Val Gardena, the presidents of the local tourism associations, and the president of the Val Gardena ski lift association.
