This tour is for all those who would like to enjoy the beautiful panorama view, but do not dare to ride up the moderately difficult trail on their MTB and to cycle up over 900 m of altitude. Thanks to the lift support, only a few metres of altitude have to be mastered with your own steam. The last meters, you can expect a nice access with a pleasant incline, up to the Resciesa alp.

For the bikers who prefer the more comfortable variant with lift support, the last 150 meters of altitude up to Resciesa will be very easy. While the more athletic ones choose to bike the most challenging part, the others can choose the variant by taking the funicular. Starting point for this tour is the Tourist Office Ortisei. From there you bike in northwest direction on Sacun Street. After a short incline, follow the gravel path to the left. On the left side, the Roma Street leads 100 meters uphill to the Resciesa funicular. Already during the ascent, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. Once you reach the top, the forest road runs downhill for about 600 meters until you reach the actual trail again. This is the ideal meeting point to master the last kilometres together.
