The starting point for this beautiful hike is the Costamula farmstead towards Mount Seceda, and it is one of the oldest farms in Val Gardena. The first section of the hike, which takes you up to the Nudrei farmstead, is the steepest, but don't let this discourage you. Further on you will reach the middle station of the 'Furnes' cable car, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view. The hike continues to the left until you reach the Cuecenes stream, where you can also take a regenerating and refreshing break along the stream. On the way back you pass a private hut and descend to Martin, from where you can take the local bus back to Ortisei. This excursion starts at the Costamula bus stop in the Ortisei fraction of Vico di Sopra. Walk on the steep path no. 2A to the Furnes midway station on the Seceda lift facility. On the way there, you will walk past the Nudrei farm. From Furnes, take a left downhill to the Cuecenes stream, an ideal spot for a refreshing moment of respite. The path continues to a private mountain hut and, finally, pth no.9 takes you to the hamlet of Martin, where you can take the local bus back to the village center or continue on Trail No. 9 to the Café Val d'Anna and then follow the Val d'Anna Trail back to the centre of Ortisei.

The starting point of the hike can be reached by local bus with the line 356, from S. Antonio Square to Costamula.Alternatively, you can reach Costamula on foot in about an hour, starting from Ortisei. Once you reach the Parish Church, continue along Via Sneton and then follow Via Scurcià to the 'Gran Tublà' house. Here you turn right and continue straight on, first into Via Sobosch and then into Via Cuca until you reach Costamula.
