    Roadbook

From the Daunëi car park, take a few steps back along the road until you come to the first bend to the right, where you turn left onto a path that crosses the road. Turn left uphill and after about 5 minutes you will see a sign indicating the start of the path. First through the forest, the path climbs steeply in several curves along a well-developed path. The higher you get, the more impressive are the views to Selva Val Gardena, Sassolungo and Passo Sella. Over a stony path, you head towards the tree line until you finally reach the rock faces. A stepped path now leads uphill in further curves below the impressive south faces until finally the peak of the Cir and the walls of the Val de Chedul are visible at the highest point of the path. A dead tree marks the beginning of the Steviola plateau, where sheep graze in summer. The landmark of the plateau, which slopes steeply to the west, south and east, is the cross with a figure of Christ under which a bench invites you to rest. Not for nothing is the place also called the "View Balcony" of Selva di Val Gardena.

From here follow the signs to the Stevia hut (No. 17). After a rest, continue on the same path (no. 17) to reach the forcella de Piza. Up here you have a complete view of the Cislesalpe. Now continue up to Col dala Pieres. You descend past stone men to a turnoff. Turn left and go down the forcella de Siëles (Alta Via delle Dolomti No. 2) to the Firenze hut.

From the Firenze hut follow the river (no. 1) until you reach a small lake. Here turn left uphill along path 3 to the Juac hut. From here you come back downhill to the Daunëi hiking car park.
