    Author’s recommendation

The Nature Park Puez-Odle was founded in 1978 and covers an area of 10,722 hectares. The nature parks of the Dolomites were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2009.
Here you can discover the various rock types, sedimentary layers and weathering. This is the reason why the Puez-Odle Nature Park is also called the “history book of the earth”.

    Roadbook

The Col Raiser gondola is where it all starts: an exciting hike in the heart of the Puez-Odle Nature Park. Leave the mountain station behind you and follow a forest path to the recently built Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Terrace, Mastlé-S. Cristina/Val Gardena. The path winds its way below the imposing vertical Fermeda towers, leading hikers first to the typical Pieralongia mountain pasture and then to the Seceda mountain pasture located at a higher altitude. From here, continue on the Mastlé mountain pasture back to the starting point.
