Val Gardena can celebrate another prestigious award: the internationally known ski portal SnowOnline.de, one of the most important comparison platforms for ski resorts in the German-speaking market, once again tested numerous ski areas in South Tyrol. With great pleasure, the jury announced its verdict, naming Val Gardena the best ski resort in South Tyrol. The testers’ conclusion was clear:
Val Gardena secures the top spot in the ranking. The ski area offers 181 kilometres of slopes, mainly red runs, making it ideal for advanced skiers. Among the most famous highlights are the Saslong World Cup downhill run and the Seceda run, which stretches for around ten kilometres. Val Gardena is also the host venue of the Gardenissima, the world’s longest giant slalom, and provides direct access to the legendary Sella Ronda around the Sella massif. Long, challenging descents, a true World Cup atmosphere and the connection to the Sella Ronda make Val Gardena a top destination for ambitious skiers.
This award once again confirms the outstanding quality of skiing in Val Gardena and underlines the international reputation of the ski resort in the Dolomites. Numerous other international awards in recent years clearly demonstrate that winter sports enthusiasts enjoy world-class skiing in Val Gardena.
